SIE Kashmir constitutes checking squad for educational institutions

SRINAGAR, MAY 18: In order to ensure academic excellence and bring improve schooling, the Joint Director Trainings/Principal State Institute of Education (SIE), Kashmir accelerated already placed multi-layer monitoring mechanism at Zonal, District and Divisional level. The well experienced teams from SIE, Kashmir are on move verifying the school functioning and class room practices in the schools.

The teams headed by Field Advisors, P.K, Durani, Ashok Kumar Sambyal visited a number of schools of Zone Nishat of district Srinagar and Zone Kangan of district Ganderbal for assessment and diagnosis of strengths and weaknesses of the school system so that the remedial and corrective measures are taken by the learning processes for any further appropriate measures.

In fact a number of schools were visited by a team headed by Joint Director Training/Principal SIE Kashmir himself, where the schools like PS Rangraz Mohalla is worth mentioning which was indicative of a quality school. There are a number of such instances, which need appreciation where teaching learning is going in appropriate manner.

The Joint Director Trainings/Principal SIE, Kashmir advised all the team heads to encourage such of the school Teachers and prevail upon Chief Education Officers to address their problems.

During monitoring, it was found that in PS Mergud, Zone Budgam only two students were on rolls and three Teachers were posted there, which seemed irrational. The concerned Zonal Education Officer and Chief Education Officer were apprised instantly and got two of the Teachers shifted to needy schools.
