    This is a “game” (I would call it more of a manipulative) to learn addition and subtraction. My 7 year old is already past basic addition and subtraction, but she was still more than happy to tear into this fun box and make up her own way to play with it. She made a tic-tac-toe board and we played a few rounds. I think this would have been great to use last year for kindergarten. I am excited to use it with my 2 year old son when he gets a bit older.     The Magnetic Game Box Numbers by HABA is perfect for not only practicing numbers and math but we also found it makes a very awesome score board when we are playing games. Putting our 6 year old in charge of keeping score with the magnets reinforces math in a fun way. I love that all the pieces store in the sturdy box that comes with it.
